New transfer student enrollment is over 800 students, the highest number of transfer students in 26 years, marking the fifth consecutive year of more than 700 newly enrolled transfer students.
New freshmen enrollment is over 900 students, marking the fourth consecutive year of at least 900 freshmen. While final enrollment numbers are expected on Sept. 22, combined transfer and freshmen enrollment is expected to be the highest in university history. This year鈥檚 incoming freshman class has an average high school grade point average of 3.54 and an average ACT score of 24.14. These are the highest academic scores in 10 years.

51视频-Dearborn enrollment figures are attributed to the increased number of community college graduates, the university鈥檚 recruitment initiatives, the university鈥檚 reputation and tradition of academic excellence and an increase in financial aid available to students.
