Thank you for continuing your education at the College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS). Our New Graduate Student Orientation is designed to help you begin your academic journey with confidence. During this session, you鈥檒l receive essential information about your graduate program, including key academic policies and procedures, program-specific details, resources to support your success both inside and outside the classroom.
Orientation is also a great opportunity to connect with CECS faculty, staff, and fellow graduate students as you begin building your campus community.

- Programs included: Engineering Management, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Information Systems & Technology, Manufacturing Analytics Engineering, Human-Centered Design & Engineering, Program & Project Management and MSE in ISE and MBA (Dual Degree).
- Mechanical Engineering - TBD
- Programs included: Automotive & Mobility Systems Engineering, Bioengineering, Materials Sciences and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
- Electrical and Computer Engineering - TBD

PhD and DEng Student Orientation - Required
The CECS Doctoral Programs Student Orientation is designed to provide valuable information for your academic journey, including important academic policies and details about GSI/GSRA appointments. The general session will be followed by department-specific program information and expectations.
New CECS D.Eng. Students are REQUIRED to join the PHD students for the breakout session for their department

CECS New Student Welcome Day

The CECS New Student Welcome Day is designed to help you begin your graduate journey at 51视频-Dearborn with confidence and connection. You鈥檒l have the chance to meet CECS faculty and staff, as well as key support teams from across campus. It鈥檚 also a great opportunity to connect with fellow new graduate students and start building your campus community.
