Ph.D. Biology. Sept. 1998. University of Windsor, Windsor, ON, Canada. Dissertation: The ovule ecology of garlic mustard, Alliaria petiolata (Brassicaceae), and other mustard species. Advisor: Dr. Lesley Lovett-Doust.

Honours B.Sc. Biology. May 1993. University of Windsor, Windsor, ON, Canada. Thesis: Population genetic structure of Vallisneria americana, a dioecious clonal macrophyte. Undergraduate thesis advisor: Dr. Jon Lovett-Doust.
