Ann Arbor Parking
The Ann Arbor campus parking system started using parking permit management system. In this system, a person鈥檚 license plate will be their parking permit. Due to this change, physical parking permits (including our Dearborn permits) will no longer be honored in Ann Arbor. You will still be able to park, but you will now need to purchase a daily or annual permit.
To purchase a daily or annual Ann Arbor campus parking permit, please visit and log in with your U-M credentials. Annual permits vary in price based on color tier (range from $200-$1,000) and daily permits will be $8 per day. Then, use your MCard to enter/exit gated parking areas. You will also need to make certain your license plate faces the drive lane.
If you need to park in Ann Arbor please make sure you indicate "yes" on your parking application. We will confirm your eligibility and make sure you are on the list to purchase a permit. If you have any issues please send an email to [email protected].
